    Ingredients

    • 4 tilapia fillets
    • 1 onion
    • Cumin
    • Garlic Powder
    • Cilantro (dried)
    • Slap Ya Mama seasoning, or salt
    • White Vinegar (just a splash for extra sauciness)
    • 2 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
      • Recommended: Burman's Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce (Aldi)
    • 1½ cup coleslaw, dry

LOW SODIUM (ORIGINAL): Season lightly. My base is intentionally lower salt because I like to eat this meal with a single serving of Doritos or Spicy Veggie Straws.

    Method

    1. Heat a pan over medium-high and add a small amount of oil.
    2. Season your fillets with cumin, garlic powder, and Slap Ya Mama.
    3. Add your chopped onions and fillets, then cook 5 to 7 minutes total, flipping the fillets halfway. Break the fish up in the pan as it cooks if desired.
    4. Add the teriyaki sauce. Stir gently for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
    5. Divide the protein into four portions, then add dry coleslaw on the side.

Sauté Coleslaw: If you prefer having your coleslaw sautéed, I recommend dividing the meal into portions first to avoid soggy coleslaw on reheat. Place one serving of the dish in the pan, then add in your coleslaw and fold it in gently on a medium-high for an additional 2-3 minutes.

    Storage
